Our Juneau Instructors are currently deployed with the 3rd Assault Regiment in Ukraine to assist in combat medical care, response training, and battlefield aid to Ukrainian Defenders and civilians. Good afternoon,
I am the director of Southeast Alaska boater Education and Research (SABER), a non-profit boater safety education training center here in Juneau. As a training organization, we also provide emergency medical response training to Juneau residents. October 2026, we will travel to Dnipro, Ukraine to provide Tactical Casualty Combat Care (TCCC) training to Ukrainian soldiers and civilians. Additionally, our group of unpaid volunteers will be operating as Combat Medics with Ukraine's 3rd Assault Regiment under the NGO, Frontline Medics (https://frontlinemedics.org/).
We are reaching out to Juneau's First Responder community, requesting donations of relevant trauma aid supplies that your organization might spare. We are more than happy to accept expired supplies, cash donations, in-kind purchases of online gear, or any other considerations you might have to offer.
None of our volunteers, nor SABER as an organization, will receive financial compensation for this mission. Each volunteer is responsible for associated expenses, including protective gear and medical supplies. If you're able to help by donating any supplies, it would be greatly appreciated.
